Picture & Poet is a community larger than its offerings – it is a movement to call bullshit on an industry riddled with staging + scripts, helping couples reclaim the reason they wanted a wedding in the first place: to celebrate their passionate, gritty, tough, real, honest, love, their way. On their wedding day and every day, they are defenders of substance over show – a value demonstrated through the documenting of love stories that money can’t buy. Through wedding photography + videography, they explore the role imagery plays in exposing truths, and our storytelling talent lies in revealing the throughlines that many don’t see in themselves.

ABOUT THE LOGO

Leaning into a motel-inspired aesthetic, there are three guiding components to this design: movement in the diagonal script type, boldness + dimension through the drop shadow lettering (with the option to have our imagery actually become a part of the logo through the use of negative space within the letters)

THE VIBE

The essence of the Picture & Poet brand encapsulates a sense of joy and embracing life's simple pleasures. Drawing inspiration from a 1970s hitchhiking journey along the western coast, coupled with a hint of Mid-Century Modern cottage elegance, the brand exudes a playful allure and grounded coziness infused with timeless sophistication.
